My name is Israel Popoca, I live in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The years that I work in the Loreto Bay National Park are twelve and in the current position I have two years.

I studied Oceanology and a master’s degree in Coastal Resource Management. I am forty one years old, All my life I like to be in contact with the water and the sea, so I made the purpose of working to take care of the sea and the natural resources of which we live. Working in the Loreto Bay National Park has been a dream come true. What fascinates me most about my work are the results of caring for nature in the company of local communities, including tourist activities.
