Thinking about the World Tourism Day
Today is the World Tourism Day. The theme this year is “Tourism and Rural Development”, and according to the UWTO1, for the first time in the 40-year history of World Tourism Day, will be hosted by the joint nations from the MERCOSUR Member States: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, with Chile joining as Member Associate status, exemplifying the spirit of international solidarity that is needed today, more than ever, for the recovery of tourism.
Pensando acerca del Día Internacional del Turismo
Hoy es el Día Internacional del Turismo. El tema este año es “Turismo y Desarrollo Rural”, y de acuerdo a la OMT1, por primera vez en los cuarenta años de historia del Día Mundial del Turismo, la celebración oficial estará auspiciada por las naciones del bloque de Estados del MERCOSUR: Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay, con Chile como Estado Asociado, como anfitriones conjuntos ejemplificando el espíritu de solidaridad internacional esencial para la recuperación del turismo.
