Argentina

Argentina is one of the largest and most diverse countries on the planet, rich in stories and landscapes from north to south.

At the southern tip of the Southern Hemisphere. Between the Andes mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean, bordering five countries on its borders. Exactly between parallels 22º to 55º South latitude. There is the Argentina Republic, one of the longest countries in the world with 3,800 km in length and the eighth among the largest, with an area of ​​3.8 million km.

ARGENTINA is a country that not only has multiculturalism in their inhabitants but also offers a geographical diversity among the territory through their 6 regions spreading an assortment of ecosystems with a large number of experiences where nature is the queen in every corner of our country.

Snow-capped mountains, lakes of clear water, leafy forests, vast plains, tropical jungles, millenary
glaciers and lunar landscapes make up some of the attractive destinations which Argentina wish to invite the world to experience them, getting drunk with fresh air and surprised by beautiful landscapes.

This is a good opportunity to rediscover the touristic wealth that Argentina has in their hands, such as the landscapes of the Humahuaca Ravine, magical towns that receive tourists with a certain shyness but with all the kindness of those who know themselves humble in front of the greatness of the Pachamama (Mother Earth) or the strength of the glaciers of Santa Cruz “the Perito Moreno” which continues going forward to produce a unique spectacle. These and other scenes invite the restless tourist to practice trekking on Aconcagua or at the well known “national capital of trekking” in El Chalten (Santa Cruz), enjoy rafting on the mountain range rivers of Mendoza and San Juan; take some overflights at the End of the World or bike descents on memorable slopes, diving with sea lions approximately 100 meters off the Argentine coast, among other options.

BUENOS AIRES

Buenos Aires is a region that houses a provincial territory and the autonomous city of our country. The city is cosmopolitan, vibrant, modern; its moves to the rhythm of an intense cultural, sports, political and administrative country life.

However, the City has the famous bike tours or walking tours across more than 100 public green spaces; one of them is the Ecological Reserve. The Ecological Reserve is the largest green space in the City of Buenos Aires and one of the favorite wanderings for walking, cycling, jogging, hiking or spending the day with the family during the weekend. The Reserve is part of the Río de la Plata Ecorute, a circuit of more than 100 km in length.

The “provincial territory” or the “country yard” of Buenos Aires is the most populated area in the country and is the most faithful representative of the “pampas”, shallow and fertile land, with a wide range of natural reserves, birding, mountain ranges, waterfalls, lagoons, archaeological museums and ghost towns expand their tourist offer in various locations

NORTH REGION

When we talk about northwestern Argentina, we are talking about of six provinces: Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Catamarca, La Rioja and Santiago del Estero. Because it is directly crossed, or under the influence of the Tropic of Capricorn, this is an area with warm days and cool nights. This land has the classic and lonely Puna salty fields, the rich jungles of Salta, the fertile valleys of Catamarca, the colorful Humahuaca Ravine in Jujuy and the hot springs of Santiago del Estero. This territory takes those who visit them from great salty fields to the most fertile of jungles, and from the great mountain heights to modern cities that do not forget their past.

LITORAL REGION

The rivers suffuse the six provinces of the littoral region that are part of the fundamental attraction determining the unspoiled nature and its landscapes. The region includes the provinces of Misiones, Chaco, Formosa, Corrientes, Entre Ríos and Santa Fe; with leafy vegetation, plains, wetlands, lagoons, native forests and jungle that are an invitation to adventure.

The lush greenery of Misiones is the greatest expression of the wet subtropical whether, while the plains of forests and hills appear in Chaco and Formosa, adding the estuaries of Corrientes, the ridges of Entre Ríos and the fertile fields of Santa Fe.

CUYO REGION

Baptized by their ancient indigenous inhabitants as Cuyum Mapu (land of sands or country of deserts), it is a place, at a first glance, with a overwhelming and even inhospitable landscape, but nevertheless its land that keeps valuable secrets. This region shelters the highest peaks of the Andes Mountains, which rise under the eyes of its greatest expression the Aconcagua with more than 6900 meters of altitude, in the province of Mendoza.

The high and the snowy peaks are ideal for mountain sports. Hang gliding or paragliding is practiced in the mountains; in dams and lagoons, canoeing and windsurfing; on the rivers, rafting and on the “Barreal – El Leoncito” plain, sand yachting.

CORDOBA

A setoff range of mountains and a benign weather characterize the province of Córdoba, where natural landscapes and colonial architectural monuments barter the scene. Villages, historical relics and cave paintings are combined in a landscape of valleys, high pampas and ravines.

Towards the northwest of the Pampa plains, the Córdoba mountain ranges appear, belonging to the “Sierras Pampeanas” system, which reach 2,790 meters in height on the Champaqui hill. Its fertile valleys, its deserts and salt fields give Cordoba an ideal stage for adventure; the mountains crossed by innumerable trails are a tempting alternative for those who want to live different experiences. Alternative tourism activities are offered to tourists in each of the valleys of this province.

PATAGONIA

 “Patagonia Argentina” is the largest region in the country and one of the tourist destinations that awakens the most illusions around the world. The name evokes mysterious inhabitants, scientists and pioneers who faced vast and desert extensions of land that hide unique beauties.

On the Atlantic Ocean, the coast extends for more than 2000 kilometers to the southernmost point of the American continent on the island of Tierra del Fuego. Wildlife watching, diving, paleontology, archeology, immigrants history, navigation through the southern sea and forthcoming to Antarctica, are some of the tourist proposals of the coastal Patagonian region.

From Neuquén to Santa Cruz, the Patagonian mountain chain region shelters some of the most beautiful mountainous landscapes in Argentina. Millennial “lenga” forests, clear water lakes, eternal snows and glaciers unfold in an environment where nature still shows itself in all its greatness and expression.
