ATNAG – NORTH GUANAJUATO “Camino Real” (Royal Road). The Camino Real de Tierra Adentro which spans over 3,000km from Mexico City to Nuevo México, USA, in 2010 is declared World Heritage Site for its importance to the development of New Spain. The road which crossed the north of Guanajuato gave strength to San Miguel de Allende which was granted the title of World Heritage Site in 2008, a title which Guanajuato was awarded in 1988. Guanajuato, one of the few states to hold 3 such awards, as well as having the archeological site Cañada de la Virgen and El Coporo, as well as the Pueblo Magico Dolores Hidalgo CIN. When you come and go rappelling, horseback riding, hiking, or visit historical sites and go on ATV’s, you can enjoy the many natural reserves and sites we have to offer.
