ATMEX (Adventure Travel México) is the business and strategic relations event dedicated to the regeneration, strengthening and growth of the most important Adventure and Nature Tourism industry in Latin America.

The objective of ATMEX is the generation of strategic alliances between buyers, suppliers and specialized media, as well as the professionalization of the industry through an academic program dedicated to sharing standards, latest trends, success stories and the best practices of the venture tourism industry in Mexico and the world

Rebeca Yañez

BA in History from the UIA, with a MA in History from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.

General Director of an agency specialized in adventure tourism, who also served as Director for Latin America of the World Association of Adventure Tourism (ATTA). She has been in charge of public relations with the main governments and representatives of the tourism industry at the international level and coordinator of the most relevant industry events in Latin America.

 

Antonio Del Rosal

Civil Engineer from the Universidad Iberoamericana with an MBA from Georgetown University.

He is a specialist in adventure and nature tourism, with 20 years of experience in the industry, throughout which he has been an expedition guide, director of the most important adventure company in Mexico, founder and owner of a company specialized in the market. North American and European and director for Latin America of the World Association of Adventure Tourism (ATTA), as well as advisor to the CPTM and other Latin American governments.

Jaime Campos

Jaime Campos has a degree in Management from ITAM and a diploma from Stanford University in strategies for launching new ventures on the market. 

Since 2009 he has collaborated with different companies and leading organizations in tourism, conservation and social enterprises in northwestern Mexico. Likewise, he has developed and implemented digital marketing strategies and for State and Municipal Tourism Trusts. Avid entrepreneur and founder of Capuchino, one of the best 20 restaurants in La Paz according to trip advisor and the starting point for different adventures in the region.

Adriana De La O Reséndiz

Graphic designer graduated from the INBA School of Design, she has specialized in Marketing and Digital Communication.  She has collaborated in the development of strategies for complex projects in the Entertainment, Gastronomy and Tourism sectors. Adriana has collaborated with Genuine Experiences since 2018, and has been in charge of various graphic design projects, among them, the design of the Ruta 1 brand for Baja California Sur and the renewal of the ATMEX and Genuine Experiences brands, as well as the management of Social Networks for ATMEX and Dopamine.

Alan Arechar

Degree in Business Administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey with a master’s degree in Finance from the UWE Bristol Business School in the United Kingdom, as well as a diploma from ICADE in Madrid.

He has international experience having worked in the United States and England. He worked as an environmental start-up developer of an air decontamination system. Since 2012 he has worked in the financial sector in charge of specialized investment instruments, public and private funds for the development of infrastructure in Mexico and structured financing for projects in the energy industry. Oscar Navarro Cortés

Graduate in Tourism Planning and Development from the National Polytechnic Institute. He has collaborated since 1990 with various actors in the tourism sector in the sustainable development of ecotourism, adventure and rural tourism in protected natural areas (ANP), indigenous communities, World Heritage sites and Magical Towns. He recently participated in the ADAPTUR Project of the German Agency for Cooperation and with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as Coordinator of Sustainable Tourism Strategies in the ANP of Mexico.

 

Gerardo Ibarra

Graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana Laguna in the Degree of Industrial Engineering

Certified as a Development Instructor by the Richmond Vale at St. Vincent & Grenadine and a master’s student in sustainable tourism at the University of the Environment. He has collaborated in different international organizations on development projects in Mexico, Africa and South America. Founder of two social companies based on collaborative models. Consultant and workshop leader, he has published articles in different countries on topics related to tourism and social entrepreneurship.

Elena Del Palacio

Graduated in Communication Sciences from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, specializing in Audiovisual Production and Marketing, with diplomas in Consumer Psychology and Digital Marketing.

Elena has led various Destination Development, Branding, Marketing Plans, media and promotion projects for various national and international destinations, as well as for tourism brands such as Palace Resorts, Posadas, Explorean, Aeroméxico, Cruise and Maritime Voyages, among others. She was Brand Manager and Director of Agency Management of the Council for Tourism Promotion of Mexico, being in charge of the Mexico brand campaigns in North America. From 2014 to 2016 he was Project Manager for LATAM of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA). She also served as Marketing Director at Fitch y Asociados (at the time Newlink Group Mexico). Currently, she is the Executive Director of Genuine Experiences and Communication Director of ATMEX, she is also the founder and CEO of Atypic Marketing, a communication, production and media agency, based in Mexico City.
