Rodolfo Salinas MsC. CEO and founder of Natoure, was born in La Paz, Bolivia, but he lives in Mexico since 2009. In 2006 he graduated as a Military Industrial Engineer, later he obtained a Master’s Degree in Project Management at the Bolivian Catholic University, as well as another Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Sciences at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.
He has also specializations in Strategic Planning from ITAM and strategic entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School, counts with international certifications for project management by the Project Management Institute in the USA as well as mega project management in the Cabinet Office of the United Kingdom, currently he is a PhD student in the Sustainable Development department at UNAM. Rodolfo is also a prominent climate leader in Latin America at The Climate Reality Project and a socio-environmental leader of the UK’s Active Citizens program for Mexico.
After 12 years of international experience directing large projects in transnational companies in Technology, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Banking and Oil & Gas, he decided to give his life a 180 degree turn, and dedicate himself fully to the purpose of his life; In this way, together with Alejandra Rios, they founded natoure.org.
Natoure is a disruptive technological platform that aims to promote social inclusion and conserve biodiversity through sustainable tourism. The vision is to show the beauty of nature through the enriching experiences of others with the ultimate goal of achieving real conservation in protected natural areas from Mexico and Latin America.
In 2019 Natoure was chosen by the World Tourism Organization as one of the 10 Startups with the greatest potential in America and at the moment it works with about 70 communities in Mexico in 20 Natural Protected Areas, it also has the largest digital community in social networks with more than 135,000 followers www.facebook.com/Natoure.org.
Natoure is also a platform for citizen science and advocacy on socio-environmental policies, with the creation of the campaigns #SoyXochimilco (change.org/SoyXochimilco) and Abejas por el Clima (change.org/AbejasPorElClima), it has achieved more than 100 million reactions in Social Networks and accumulating more than half a million citizen signatures as well as the participation of more than a dozen influencers. Natoure currently leads the 2030 Sustainable Tourism Strategy together with SECTUR.
Right now Natoure is finalist at the Innovation Factory Contest by GIZ and Momentum program by BBVA.

Rodolfo también es un líder climático destacado en Latinoamérica en The Climate Reality Project y líder socio ambiental del programa Active Citizens de UK para México..
