Mexico is one of the megadiverse countries on the planet, only some countries have this distinction and this makes our country one of the most attractive places for tourism worldwide. The megadiverse countries are a “select group of nations that possess the greatest diversity of animals and plants, almost 70% of the world’s diversity of species”. (Comisión Nacional para el Conocimiento y Uso de la Biodiversidad, 2020)
