Travesías, strategic media partner for ATMEX 2019

Travesías, leader brand on luxury travel in Latin America, joined ATMEX as a strategic partner to inspire more travelers to get to know Mexico and live new experiences.

For over 18 years, Travesías magazine has been considered as an expert travel guide. This publication reaches a good amount of experienced readers that recognize a good travel chronicle and are eager to explore more destinations.

Through its history, Travesías has  explored the ways to reach out to more audiences and strengthen its roots in the Nature and Adventure Travel industry. Travesías has established bridges with different  initiatives and projects to optimize its recommendations to travelers and to be up to date with consumer trends in tourism.

An example of the above is the strategic alliance with ATMEX, a project devoted to develop and nurture the Nature and Adventure Travel Industry in Mexico and Latin America.  These type of travel generates consciousness about sustainability, the environment and as an industry, it is growing at a sustained rate of 65% per year, and has a value of over 683,000 million dollars.

In Mexico, this type of travel is key to incentivize the preservation of cultural and natural heritage. It is also key to generate economic growth on off the beaten path communities and to support cultural initiatives of local communities.

As a part of this alliance between Travesías and ATMEX, Travesías will be participating in ATMEX at Valle de Bravo, and will launch a microsite inside travesiasdigital.com that will feature content on adventure travel destinations in Mexico as well as information about traveling with a cause.

Besides, Travesías will join ATMEX academic program with a workshop called “How to approach traveling within digital platforms” that will take place on October 25, as part of ATMEX’ concurrent sessions.

Without a doubt, this alliance will help destinations and local suppliers participating in ATMEX to have a greater visibility thanks to the 730,000 readers of Travesías digital version and to its more than 60 thousand social media followers.
