1. River Fun

This trek follows the cause of the Tuxpan River, exploring its falls, channels and pools. Departing from the hot springs hotel Agua Blanca, participants will explore the tropical canyon in a 3 hour walk and can expect to be completely drenched. Technical difficulty of hike: 8/10 (expect to jump into pools, and do some climbing).

3. Paricutín Volcano

The adventure begins with a walk between stones and volcanic sand to reach the top of the youngest volcano in the world; During the journey, admire the landscape that the height offers you, feel the heat of its vapors and have fun sliding down the sand. We will continue the trip to the Pantzingo tourist center where you will enjoy a delicious meal.

5. Uakusi Forest Hike and Hammocks

Hike among the most beautiful ravines of the Cerro del Águila forest, the highest mountain in Morelia (3090 meters above sea level). The pines and oaks are waiting for us to climb among them and enjoy the view from hammocks arranged high up.
The meeting point is in the old town of Tacícuaro, from there we will go up the mountain in a 4×4 truck until we reach the forest, then we will walk up the mountain approximately 2 kilometers through the ravines and then take a well-deserved rest in hammocks installed between the heights of the trees while we taste a traditional Purépecha dish.

You will get to know the beautiful town of Etúcuaro “The Cradle of Michoacan Mezcal” where you will be able to learn about the process of this Mexican drink and its peculiar flavor made with the maguey cupreata in a traditional mezcal factory and its agave fields, as well as taste it.
In addition to enjoying a trail to the waterfall and learning about its Adventure Park where you will live the experience of jumping off a 1 km zip line, a vacuum swing, a glass viewpoint and the 100 meter high suspension bridge.

You will take a trail of approximately 2 hours in the forest until you reach the very ancient volcanic crater known as Cerro Hollow and an icon for adventure tourism in Michoacán, more than 30 meters deep in which the rappelling activity will be carried out and you will be able to enjoy one of the best views of this place.

We will visit the Umécuaro Dam where we will do the zip line activity, which crosses over the dam.
We will also visit the Tres Cascadas Ecotourism Center where we will take a trail to visit the waterfalls formed by the river that is formed thanks to the dam, as well as the challenge of the hanging bridges to end up enjoying a meal and a tasting of mezcal from the municipality of Morelia.
