The ATMEX 2020 Marketplace will have more reach than ever

One of the main changes and trends this year is the digitization of the work and meetings, we have all experienced these changes in the way we interact with others.

According to the IFT (Instituto Federal de Comunicaciones de México), in Mexico alone, there are more than 80.6 million internet users (IFT, 2020), and according to the World Bank, almost half of the global population uses the internet as communication and information media with 49.7%. (WORLD BANK, 2020)

Digital platforms have come to cover meeting rooms and spaces for personal and professional encounters. ATMEX 2020 will take advantage of technology to generate the Marketplace with the greatest scope so far.

The ATMEX marketplace will be a virtual space where national and international buyers, in search of the best offers and experiences in sustainable tourism and companies and operators will meet to share their visions, their proposals and above all, to generate commercial alliances that generate economic development and new development opportunities for the industry.

The Marketplace is a space designed for providers of adventure and nature services and activities to meet buyers (tour operators and travel agencies) and media, both national and international. During these business appointments, which will last 15 minutes, suppliers will be able to show their products, which will give them the opportunity to develop or strengthen a business relationship that can be extremely beneficial for both suppliers and buyers.

The power of technology will offer us the possibility of connecting the supply and demand of adventure tourism, reducing the need to invest in transfers, production of physical materials and reducing security risks. This will allow us to expand the business potential in our country, in a more sustainable and secure way, the conditions are ideal to connect directly from the destinations with innovative and attractive proposals and offers.

This new reality implies new challenges for everyone, companies will have to innovate their offer and their means of communication and sales and buyers will use their experience and intuition to find the ideal commercial allies among the great offer of adventure tourism in our country. This new reality is certainly exciting.

ATMEX will bring more than 80 professional buyers from Mexico and abroad and there will be 100 places available for companies looking to offer their services on this platform. The Marketplace will have sessions “one to one”, between buyers and exhibitors with a planned agenda to get the most out of the meetings.
